Pet-Friendly Hotel in Hermiston, Oregon — Dogs Welcome

Travelling through Hermiston with your dog? We keep a set of designated pet-friendly rooms so the two of you can settle in for the night without circling the OTAs looking for a "dogs allowed" filter. Centrally located at 655 N 1st St — easy in, easy out, easy walks.

🐾 Up to 2 dogs per room (50 lbs each) · $20 per dog per night · Service animals stay free. Mention your pet when booking by calling (541) 567-7777.

Why Dog Owners Pick Us in Hermiston

A clean, comfortable, independently owned hotel that genuinely welcomes well-behaved dogs — not the "we tolerate them" kind of pet-friendly. Centrally located, with the practical bits that matter when you're travelling with a four-legged passenger.

Designated Pet-Friendly Rooms

We keep a set of rooms specifically for guests travelling with dogs — request one at booking or check-in. Cleaned to the same standard as the rest of the property, just better suited to four-legged guests.

Walkable Central Location

Sidewalks right outside the door and quiet residential streets a block away mean morning and evening walks are quick and easy — no driving to find a patch of grass.

24/7 Front Desk

Pets don't read clocks. The lobby is staffed around the clock, so a late arrival with a tired dog is never a problem — someone is always here to check you in.

Free Drive-Up Parking

Park right by the entrance and unload directly into your room — no shuttle, no garage, no leashing a stressed-out dog across a giant lot.

Our Pet Policy at a Glance

Honest, upfront rules — no surprises at the front desk. If you have questions about your specific situation, just give us a call before you book.

Dogs Only

We welcome dogs. We are not able to accommodate cats or other animals — sorry, this isn't negotiable.

Up to 2 Dogs, 50 lbs Each

Two-dog maximum per room. Each dog must be 50 pounds or less. For larger dogs, please call before booking so we can talk it through.

$20 per Dog, per Night

Pet fee is $20 per dog per night, non-refundable. Covers the extra cleaning and turn time after your stay.

Service Animals Stay Free

ADA-defined service animals are welcome in any room at no additional fee and are not subject to the pet policy above.

Leashed in Common Areas

Please keep your dog on a leash whenever you're outside your room — hallways, lobby, parking lot, all of it.

Never Left Unattended

Dogs left alone in rooms tend to bark, and a stressed dog in an unfamiliar room is no fun for anyone. Please take them with you when you head out.

Tips for Travelling Through Hermiston With Your Dog

Book by Phone if You're Pet-Travelling

Online booking works fine, but a quick call to (541) 567-7777 lets us pre-assign a pet-friendly room and flag the reservation so check-in is faster. Mention any quirks — anxious traveller, big barker, special needs — so we can match the right room.

Pack the Boring Essentials

Bedding or a familiar blanket helps your dog settle in. A travel water bowl, extra waste bags, and any anxiety meds your vet recommends go a long way on a road-trip stop. There's a microwave and mini-fridge in the room if you've got cold-storage food.

Use the Sidewalks, Skip the Highway

N 1st Street is a main road — fine to walk along during the day, but for morning and evening dog breaks the residential streets just east and west of the property are quieter and easier on a leash. Plenty of grass strips and quiet corners within a block or two.

Going Out Without the Dog?

If you're heading out to eat or run errands and don't want to leave your dog alone in the room, a quick call to the local vet clinics will turn up day-boarding options. We can point you in the right direction at the front desk.
